This little shed is used to store buckets of wet clay and lime putty. The buckets never freeze inside the well-insulated straw bale walls. The door is plywood covered with reed mats and bamboo for decoration.

This wall was made by weaving a reed mat around juniper posts then stiffened with a coat of clay and straw. The outside was stabalized with a mix of clay and lime.
