The Canelo Project is a small non-profit organization. Being small we are able to keep our overhead costs down low. We are reliant on the continued financial support of generous individuals and foundations to whom we are extremely grateful.

Besides monetary support, we could also make great use of other donations.  Early on we had a greater need for tools and equipment, but for the most part we have what we need.  Overall, as our activities become more complex and varied so do our needs.

We are presently devoting more of our time to communication via the web, planned publications and such.  Additionally we are very involved along the border and in Mexico, again, in a multitude of activities.  And of course our work with clay and natural building continues as always.

Our most current needs are as follows…

Digital and electronic equipment, including but not limited to:

• Compact quality digital projector
• Two twin matresses
• Used iPhones
• Large capacity external hard drives

We are also in search of a 2005 (or newer) van or other vehicle capable of transporting at least 7 or more people at a time for trips into Mexico.  4-wheel or all-wheel drive would be preferred.  (For example, a Ford Excursion, 2002 or later, diesel, with reasonable mileage would be fabulous and miraculous.)
